The Tartan of Holland was officially launched on Saturday 3rd September 2005 in the Scottish Highlands. The venue was The Famous Grouse Experience, Glenturret Distillery, Crieff. 
Crescens Akkermans and his brother Pierre proudly wear their kilt outfits in the new
"Tartan of Holland". Also incorporated in the design are special black fur sporrans with the lion rampant, a national symbol shared by Scotland and the Netherlands.

After visitng The Famous Grouse Experience, our two Dutch visitors were cordially invited to tour Tullibardine Distillery at the new Tullibardine 1488 visitor centre. We
would also like to thank the staff of Tullibardine 1488 and tour guide Jenni for their kind welcome.
